La banda se formó en el verano del 2011 por Roy Smila y Ofir J. Rock.
ANNA RF comenzó en el pequeño pueblo del desierto de Shaharut en el sur de Israel.
Juntos han creado un nuevo sonido.
Una mezcla entre el este y oeste, mezclando instrumentos antiguos y modernos combinados con un toque electrónico. El pasado se encuentra presente en un sonido futuro.
ANNA RF también se involucra en las artes visuales. Crean videos para cada canción. Su música y sus videos son de producción propia en su estudio, en Israel o en su estudio móvil de audio y vídeo cuando viajan alrededor del mundo.
La palabra ANNA RF es una expresión árabe-hebrea que tiene un doble significado. "Lo sé" y "no sé", esto representa el concepto que tiene como filosofía ésta banda.
The band formed in the summer of 2011 by Roy Smila and Ofir J. Rock.
ANNA RF began in the tiny desert village of Shaharut in southern Israel.
Together they have created a new sound.
A mix between the east and the west, blending ancient and modern instruments combined with an electronic touch. Past meets present into a future sound.
ANNA RF is also about visual art. They create video clips for each song. Their music and videos are self-produced in their studio, in Israel or in their mobile audio and video studio as they travel around the world.
The word ANNA RF is an Arabic-Hebrew expression witch has a double meaning. "I know" and "I don't know", that represents the concept behind the so called philosophy of the band.
