פקו אלונזו הוא צלם מקסיקני שנולד בעיר פוובלה. הוא למד עיצוב גרפי, פרסומאיות, וצילום, ובמהלך תקופה זו הוא גילה את התשוקה שלו לצילום. לדבריו: "יכולות הביטוי העצמי שלי אינן טובות, למעשה הייתי מעדיף לצייר רישומים אך אינני טוב מספיק... בצילום אני מוצא מדיום מושלם לביטוי עצמי, המובילה אותי גם אל הציור והרישום."
אחד מהקשיים בהם פקו פגש בסוג זה של צילום הוא שלפעמים אנשים חוששים להצטלם, מבחינת פקו קושי זה הופך להזדמנות ליצור דיאלוג עם אנשים: "אני אוהב את צילום הרחוב מפני שהכול מתרחש באופן טבעי, מצבים, לפעמים עצובים, לפעמים שמחים ועצובים, ברחוב תמיד ישנם רגעים בלתי מצופים... הכול ספונטני."

Packo Alonso es un fotógrafo mexicano nacido en la ciudad de puebla, México.Estudió la carrera en Diseño gráfico, Publicidad y Fotografía y fue durante ese tiempo que descubrió su pasión por la fotografía. Packo comenta “no soy bueno expresándome, me gusta mucho el dibujo pero tampoco soy bueno dibujando… en la fotografía encuentro el medio perfecto para expresarme, pintar y dibujar”.
La ciudad es el motivo de su fotografía: Gente en parques, calles, mercados, algunas veces se les ve al lado de ríos o en el campo; observa, se mantiene atento a situaciones inesperadas que ofrecen la oportunidad a los transeúntes de salir de la cotidianeidad, “Cada vez que tomo una foto, yo pienso que ellos (la gente a la que retrata) salen de su monotonía, me parece como si fuese un momento fuera de lo común que ellos viven conmigo”.
Una de las dificultades con las que se ha encontrado al hacer éste tipo de fotografía es que en ocasiones la gente se desconcierta al ser fotografiada, se muestran desconfiados y temerosos, pero eso no ha sido un obstáculo para él y logra convertirlo en una oportunidad para dialogar: "me gusta la fotografía de calle porque todo ocurre con naturalidad, en ocasiones situaciones tristes, otras veces alegres o graciosas, siempre hay momentos inesperados… en la calle todo es espontáneo”.

Packo Alonso is a Mexican photographer born in the city of Puebla, Mexico. He studied Graphic Design, Publicity and Photography. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for photography. He says, "I'm not good at expressing myself, I actually love to draw but I'm not good... I find the perfect way to express myself is through photography. It leads me to paint and draw."
In the city is where he finds motivation for his photography: People in parks, streets, markets, sometimes you see them next to rivers or in the field. He keeps an eye on unexpected situations that offers the opportunity to break monotony, "Everytime I take a picture, I think they ( the people) go out of their monotonous lifestyles. I imagine a moment out of the ordinary that they share with me."
One of the difficulties that Packo found in doing this kind of photography is that people are quite fearful of being photographed sometimes. But instead of seeing this as an obstacle, he tries to turn it into an opportunity to engage in conversations with people: "I like street photography because everything happens with people in a natural way. Situations can sometimes be sad, sometimes happy or funny. There are always unexpected moments on the street ... everything is spontaneous ."

Esta serie muestra la espontaneidad de mi urbe que es capturada con mi lente y desde mi perspectiva: la gente sin poses, en escenarios distintos y con rostros sinceros.
En mi trabajo fotográfico utilizo el HDR o High Dynamic Range (alto rango dinamico) para alcanzar el mayor detalle de una sola fotografia haciendo varias mezclas de exposiciones de menor a mayor o vicerversa dando un resultados surreales o en su caso de mayor detalle, se utiliza principalmente en paisajes, arquitectura, y en objetos, sin embargo en personas es menos frecuente su uso ya que resalta los razgos de la persona y en consecuenciala imagen pierde su valor estético, algunos lo utilizan en retratos de ancianos para dar detalle a las arrugas, pigmentación, piel, etc.

This series shows the spontaneity of my city that is captured with my lens from my perspective: people without poses in different scenarios and with sincere faces.
In my photographic work I use the HDR (High Dynamic Range), to achieve more detail in photography by using various exposures from low to high or vice-versa giving a surreal and more detailed effect. It is mainly used in landscapes, architecture, and objects. It is, however, not as common in people because the traits of the person and the image loses its aesthetic value. Some use HDR for portraits of elderly people to give detail to the wrinkles, pigmentation, skin, etc.

סידרת צילומים זו ממחישה את הספונטניות של העיר שלי דרך העדשה והפרספקטיבה שלי: אנשים ללא פוזה בסיפורים שונים עם פנים גלויים ואמיתיים.
בעבודתי בצילום אני משתמש ב- High Dynamic Range על מנת להשיג יותר פרטים בצילום, על ידי חשיפות שונות מגבוהה לנמוך או ההיפך וכך מעניקות את ההיבט הסוריאליסטי ביותר פרטים, ומשתמשים בו בעיקר בנופים, ארכיטקטורה, וחפצים, אך לא משתמשים בטכניקה זו בצילומים של אנשים מפני שהמצולם והדימוי מאבדים את ערכם האסתטי. יש המשתמשים ב- HDR עבור פורטריטים של אנשים מבוגרים על מנת להמחיש קמטים, פיגמנטציה, עור, וכו'.
